I have full ownership of my Jaws for Windows and do not use it. I know
someone can get it switched over to their name for $250. I am thinking about
selling it to someone and not sure on a price. What are your thoughts?
I did not get it threw the state, it was given to me by a wife when her blind
husband had passed away. He had it from nearly the beginning of Jaws so its ID
number is only 4 digits. It is in my name and I fully own it.
You will have to say what version it is, and how many upgrades it would come with in order to get a suggestion on price.
You see, Jaws will soon become obsuleete if it is under version 16, because of Windows 10.
I have been told that it will not work until the upgrade is available with Windows 10by Freedom Scientific.
So, a person byuying a copy would need to know if they were going to stay with Windows 8 and under, and for how long.
On top of this, if people go to convention next month, they'll get it for $150, so...
Is that 150 for an upgrade, or a bran new setup, if you don't have one?
The pro version, or home?
FS are offering a full version of JAWS 16 home for $75 at the NFB convention.
If you want an SMA with that it's $175, and an SMA by itself is $100. More at

When I got my Jaws switched over to my name They gave me either 2 or 3 new
updates and sat it up for the latest version that they had out. It cost me $250
for this.
So, what version can a buyer get, and what are you thinking of asking?
I read that page.
Really good.
Let me get this straight: If you are present at convention, you get Jaws for free, but if you're not, you don't? What the hell? Not sure on an asking price really. I'd trade you something for it... Or, if the price is right, maybe I'll buy it. I want it for a friend... Let me know your asking price.
No, it's not for free, there's a fee, but cheaper for what she's asking for it, and yes, you only have to be at convention to get this. The reason why I'm bringing it up is because if they can sell it for cheap, then you can...
Well, I'd say going to the NFB deal to get a discount is expensive, but if you're already there, smooth.
